The “Woolly Pully” sweater was originally developed during World War II for use by the S.A.S and Bomber Command.
This heavy wool, rib knit crew neck sweater is hardwearing and functional, complete with shoulder patches and elbow patches. Durable and hardwearing, this classic crew neck sweater retains its appearance and shape wash after wash.
We have manufactured the “Woolly Pully” for over 50 years to the exacting standards of the British M.O.D specification UK/SC/3712

Even better than expected!!
I’ve been wanting one of these for years, but the normal fare found at surplus stores is usually undersized and pretty well worn out from rugged use. After a little searching the other day I found the Outdoor Knitwear web site and was able to find exactly the item I wanted. It was delivered to my home today (Utah, USA) and is even nicer than I had hoped! And the timing couldn’t have been better as we’re having a late Spring cold front come through with a rain & snow mix. The garment is extremely well-made and the fit is spot-on to the size-guide at the web site. I’ll be back for more in the near future. A great sweater
A great sweater, very warm, decent price, nice color range, large enough elbow patches, good delivery (your own country’s post office). I recommend buying one size bigger than normally because it’s army fitting i.e. tight fitting. You won’t find this on Amazon.

An Excellent sweater
I have had several wooly pully sweaters from Outdoor Knitwear, and find them excellent winter sweaters. They fit well, because of their tight knit construction, they are warm and hardwearing, and the only detriment I can mention is pulled threads when the cat uses his claws, I defy any knitwear to survive this unscathed. Altogether a “Best Buy” at the price and quality.

Fabulous Product, Outstanding Service
I ordered this pullover as a Christmas gift for my husband, unfortunately, shortly after I ordered, Canada Post went on strike. I’d like to say that the service I received was really exceptional. With help of CSR, Neil, we overcame a postal strike, Christmas rush and the fact that I live in a rural part of Newfoundland to receive the sweater. It looks really great on my husband and the quality is everything we hoped for. With this kind of product and service, we’re sure to be repeat customers. Bravo!
